Recently, the world's first methanol truck crane has been put into use. This methanol truck crane has a longest main arm of 44.5 meters, a maximum lifting moment of 1,372 kNm, a maximum rated lifting capacity of 25 tons.

The related research and development of this methanol vehicle takes the 25-ton truck crane, the largest sales volume on the market, as the starting point. For the first time, the alcohol-resistant, flame-retardant, and durable technologies of methanol vehicles are applied to the field of engineering cranes.And have solved the industry problems：low-temperature start-up of methanol engines and high latent heat value of methanol evaporation.

Using methanol as a crane fuel reduces hydrocarbon emissions by 40% compared to diesel. As an important coal chemical product, methanol has large output and low cost. Using methanol as an alternative fuel for truck cranes can greatly reduce the use of diesel and other fuels, which is beneficial to ensuring national energy security.

Methanol truck cranes are not only environmentally friendly but also economical. Compared with fuel truck cranes, the comprehensive operating costs can be saved by about 42%. No urea is required in exhaust emission treatment to meet relevant emission requirements.
