The first batch of 20 hydrogen cold chain logistics vehicles officially launched
Recently, the first batch of 20 hydrogen-powered cold chain logistics vehicles were officially launched. The products lead the industry in key indicators such as reliability, environmental adaptability, design service life, and hydrogen consumption per 100 kilometers. The hydrogen-powered cold chain logistics vehicle serving the agricultural product logistics scene in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area uses localized fuel cell power systems and complete vehicles to help green and digitalize all aspects of the logistics industry to reduce carbon emissions.
The first batch of 40 4.5-ton hydrogen cold chain vehicles has been launched. It is expected that 200 vehicles will be launched before the end of this year and a total of 500 vehicles will be launched by the end of 2025. The length of the cargo compartment is about 4.2 meters, and the cruising range can reach 400 kilometers when fully charged with hydrogen. It has the characteristics of zero emissions, long battery life, temperature control and freshness preservation, short recharge time, and low noise.
This batch of cold chain vehicles is mainly responsible for the transportation of agricultural products. It is used for distribution from the agricultural product trading center to large-scale group meal distribution, large-scale canteen distribution, and large-scale e-commerce warehouses. The average daily transportation mileage is 200-300 kilometers. In this scenario, the current status of the hydrogen energy industry such as the low frequency of hydrogen vehicle use and insufficient hydrogen refueling stations can be effectively overcome.
