The core module of Guangdong's world's first offshore wind power hydrogen production project was successfully hoisted
Recently, the core modules of the world's first offshore wind power hydrogen production project in Guangdong have been successfully hoisted and hoisted. Offshore installation and functional connections between modules are currently underway.
This hoisting is to hoist the 4 container modules (containing equipment in the box) + hydrogen storage skids and related auxiliary equipment and materials on the barge to the corresponding positions of the offshore platform using a special sea crane and install and fix them. The most important project is the placement, fixation and installation of four containers and a hydrogen storage skid on the platform.
Container 1#: The box contains mainly electrical equipment: DCS control box, rectifier cabinet, compensation cabinet, transformer, and electric control cabinet;
Container #2: Inside the box are mainly hydrogen production equipment including electrolyzers, gas-liquid separation frame equipment, purification frames and pipelines connecting each other;
Container #3: The container mainly contains seawater desalination related equipment, including seawater desalination device, water replenishment pump, and water/alkali tank;
Container #4: Inside the box are mainly hydrogen compressors, air compressors, seawater pumps, fresh water pumps, and hydrogen buffer tanks;
Hydrogen storage skid: It is mainly composed of multiple hydrogen storage bottles with a pressure of more than 350 kg integrated into a skid, which is responsible for the hydrogen storage function of offshore wind power generation.
The successful hoisting of the core module of the offshore wind power hydrogen production project has promoted the application of combining offshore wind power with hydrogen energy technology, and will promote the efficient use of clean energy and the green transformation of the energy structure. This project not only has a demonstration and leading role, but will also promote the development of related industrial chains and provide strong support for achieving low-carbon development goals.
