Hydrogen ventilation and photovoltaic hydrogen production integrated project approved
Hydrogen ventilation and photovoltaic hydrogen production integrated project approved
On June 21, the Mongolia wind and solar hydrogen production integrated project was approved. The project covers an area of 10,700 mu and is scheduled to start construction in October 2024 and be completed in December 2025.
After the project is completed, the annual power generation will be 508 million kW·h, the annual hydrogen production will be about 8,710 tons, the annual oxygen production will be about 69,680 tons, and the annual output of photovoltaic sheep will be 600. The hydrogen produced will be used for the green energy replacement of the partner's coal chemical fertilizer and coal mine vehicles, realizing the commercial application of hydrogen energy in the fields of green chemical industry and green mining, and the oxygen will be used for the partner's industrial smelting.
This project adopts an off-grid-based + grid-connected operation model and uses the hydrogen-electricity coupling technology to reduce dependence on the power grid while opening up new growth space for the application of renewable energy. This project is a major breakthrough in the field of clean energy.
Hydrogen production is a key link in the upstream of the hydrogen energy industry chain, affecting the development of the entire hydrogen energy industry. The construction of this integrated hydrogen production project has taken a key step towards opening up the integrated supply chain ecology of "production-storage-transportation-addition-use".
The project will promote the practical application of hydrogen energy in the green chemical and mining fields, and use hydrogen-electric coupling technology to reduce dependence on the power grid. This project is not only of great significance to promoting the green transformation of the regional energy structure, but will also contribute to the integrated development of the hydrogen energy industry chain and the improvement of environmental protection benefits.
