On May 22, 30 hydrogen trucks were delivered at the port 30 hydrogen trucks put into use. The performance and energy saving of these 30 hydrogen trucks have been greatly improved compared to the 50 hydrogen trucks put into use earlier.

The frequency of hydrogenation of these new trucks is much lower than before, which can save more time for work. The new hydrogen truck optimizes the original body structure and adjusts the hydrogen storage tanks from the original 10 140L to 5 410L, increasing the capacity by 46%. At the same time, based on the low-speed and heavy-load operation scenarios of the port, the fuel cell system and Motor related parameters have been adjusted. The new hydrogen truck has a cruising range of 420 kilometers, which is 40% higher than the old model. It can further improve vehicle usage efficiency and work performance, and provide a strong guarantee for production operations.

In order to improve the adaptability of hydrogen trucks in port applications, the optimal power range of the engine system has been adjusted, and the engine power demand working conditions have been calibrated with vehicle operators, thereby improving the engine's operating efficiency and reducing vehicle hydrogen energy consumption. to 0.16 kilograms per TEU, which can save fuel costs by about 0.7 yuan per TEU. According to estimates, 80 hydrogen-powered trucks are expected to save more than 3 million yuan in fuel costs and reduce carbon emissions by 4,000 tons each year, further promoting cost reduction, efficiency improvement and green development of the port.
