Energy storage hydrogen production integration project in northeast China was officially transferred to commercial operation

On April 22, 2024, an energy storage hydrogen production integration project in northeast China was officially transferred to commercial operation, marking the transition of China’s largest wind power off-grid hydrogen production demonstration project into commercial operation.

This project pioneered the research and development of "large-capacity wind power off-grid hydrogen production integration" technology and applied it to China's first 25 MW off-grid wind power hydrogen production project, building a 25 MW wind turbine, a 5 MWh energy storage power station and 3 sets output 1000Nm3/h water electrolysis hydrogen production device.

This pure green hydrogen production project successfully produced hydrogen and completed hydrogen filling, with the purity of hydrogen reaching 99.999%. From the start of construction, the trial production stage, to the official commercial operation, the project achieved its production target in just 8 months, creating the world's first large-scale wind power off-grid hydrogen production project demonstration.
