Recently, China's first successful direct electrolysis of hydrogen production from oil and gas field wastewater without purification. During the test, the hydrogen production of the demonstration prototype reached the rated value, and on-site measurements showed that the hydrogen purity reached 99.999%.
This project uses in-situ direct electrolysis hydrogen production technology from seawater without desalination, which is the first time this technology has been applied in the field of hydrogen production from industrial wastewater. It will explore the future expansion of direct seawater hydrogen production technology into the field of energy conservation and environmental protection, and provide a route reference for hydrogen production from industrial wastewater such as petrochemical wastewater and steelmaking wastewater. At the same time, the R&D team is developing 100Nm3/h large-scale equipment and systems and actively promoting project demonstrations.
