China's First Self-Developed Hydrogen Energy City Train has Successfully Reached Speed Test Run
On March 21, China's first self-developed hydrogen energy municipal train conducted an operation test at a test line in Changchun. The train successfully ran at a full load of 160 km/h, achieving full-system, full-scene and multi-level performance verification, marking a new breakthrough in the application of hydrogen energy in rail transit. The actual average energy consumption of the train per kilometer is 5 kilowatt hours, which meets the requirements of various vehicle design indicators and reaches the international leading level.
This train has for the first time verified the actual performance of a hydrogen energy train at ambient temperatures of -25°C to 35°C. All indicators in the test results have met the vehicle design requirements. It applies a distributed hybrid power supply solution with multiple energy storage and multi-hydrogen energy systems, and adopts a hydrogen-electric hybrid energy management strategy and control system to achieve deep integration of vehicle control, greatly improve energy utilization efficiency, and at the same time improve energy supply. Flexibility and reliability, the maximum cruising range can reach more than 1,000 kilometers.
This test further promotes the independent control of key technologies of high-end transportation equipment and provides scientific and technological support for the acceleration of the formation of new quality productivity in my country's transportation equipment.
