China's first hydrogen-powered tugboat project starts construction
China's first hydrogen-powered tugboat project has started. The ship adopts the "hydrogen fuel cell + liquid-cooled lithium battery" power mode to create a new ship type of "fuel cell hybrid power + green ecological logo". It is reported that after the ship is put into operation, it is expected to reduce carbon emissions by more than 1,400 tons per year, truly achieving zero emissions and zero pollution, and setting a new benchmark for the low-carbon and environmentally friendly transformation of ships.
The project coordinated experts to conduct technical exchanges, providing strong support for the successful implementation of the project. At the same time, a response plan was formulated for the risk points in the later construction stage to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
This project is the first application of hydrogen fuel cell technology on a tugboat in China. The project marks a new step in the innovation of China's hydrogen energy technology in the port industry.
The commencement of the hydrogen-powered tugboat project not only demonstrates China's innovative strength in the field of hydrogen energy technology, but also sets a new environmental protection benchmark for the port industry. The successful implementation of this project will promote more ships to adopt green power technology and contribute to the green and high-quality development of China's oceans.
